We collect data such as contact information, employment and educational histories, professional affiliations, and related information from candidate submissions to our website and in direct conversations with candidates. Further, we may collect and verify information from prior employers and associates, educational institutions, and other reference sources.

We use personal information from candidates in order to inform them of potential career-enhancing opportunities or to network with them regarding other executives they may recommend to us. In order to present a candidate to a Burkholder Group, Inc. client for consideration of employment, candidate personal information will be shared with the client company. We may also use personal information to send emails or marketing materials from time-to-time. BGI advises candidates to not provide any personal information of a sensitive nature which they would not want shared with our clients.

In order to optimize the effectiveness of our website, visitor traffic is automatically monitored to provide collective (not individual) data about browsing patterns, time spent on the site, the most visited pages, etc. Like most websites, we use cookies (small text files left on a visitor’s hard drive) to make this traffic pattern analysis possible. These cookies are only read by our third party vendor's server and are not able to transmit any virus or code. Our third party information technology vendor, who hosts and maintains our proprietary system of candidate and client data, has in place appropriate electronic and physical security procedures to prevent unauthorized access to this confidential information. We also will use our best efforts to safeguard your information.

Burkholder Group, Inc. reserves the right to disclose or transmit candidate or client information we collect as part of our recruiting service to third parties with whom we form strategic alliances or in the case where we enter into a sale or a transfer of assets of BGI.
